History of OADCPH Training

OADCPH is convinced that the development of human resources is the most important part to achieve sustainable development. It has therefore set up a system of continuous training in equipment, functional rehabilitation and management. Thirteen (13) continuing education modules organized to date and have taken place in Togo, Benin, Senegal and Tunisia. These were the following formations:

Wheelchair training (WHO guide)
Training on tibial and femoral prostheses
Two trainings on the use of low temperature plastics)
Two trainings on stock management
Two trainings on the management of idiopathic scoliosis
Two training sessions on upper limb prostheses
A training on femoral sockets with integrated ischium
Training on the assessment and treatment of stroke
Training on caring for the elderly

These continuing training sessions brought together more than 200 people from thirteen
(13) Central, West and North African countries (Benin, Togo, Niger, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Congo, Senegal, Chad, Tunisia, Cameroon and The Mali).

New From 2018

OADCPH has taken into account your suggestions and your wishes to extend the duration of the technical training. Also, from this year 2018, the technical training will have the following durations:

Orthopedic equipment training: two weeks
Functional rehabilitation training: one week
Training on Project Management: seven days
